I need to fill the empty spaces that dot my room. Since 2007, I’ve slowly covered my walls with posters, magazine cutouts, advertisements, reviews, little snippets from the bands that I liked. Well, it’s 2012 now, and I’ve been away for a while. I’ve reassessed my decor and felt it was time to update it. I took a few things down. Things that are old and faded, bands that I don’t care much for anymore. In a way, it’s always sad to realize that things change and you’re not quite who you were before, but there’s also a realization of growth (possibly maturation). I will always remember those years fondly, but it’s time for me to move on.
